With ‘connected’, I combine historical lamp glasses from different countries and decades to create new light objects. Each object tells its own story of origin and time. It is the connection between two glasses that moves me, the coming together of two light carriers that have been on different journeys. The plastic connection I construct for this purpose supports this new connection.

The xyz of my studio refers to the coordinates. x- the horizontal. y- the vertical distance of a point from the zero point. z- My intervention through the 3D-printed element that brings the fragments together in the present moment, a place where different directions and stories meet.
